Access levels explained

Learn what each Access Level in Safe Food Pro can do — from Admin and Manager to Tablet, Internal Auditor, and External Verifier.

For: Admins

When you create a User account in Safe Food Pro, you assign them an Access Level. This controls which parts of the platform they can access and what they can do.


Admin

The highest Access Level. Admin is created automatically when you register your account and can be assigned to additional users from Staff & Users.

  • Full access to the Admin Console

  • Full access to the Mobile App

  • Access to billing and payment details

  • Can be set up across multiple Safe Food Pro accounts using the same login


Manager

Similar to Admin, with a few restrictions. Suitable for senior staff who need to oversee operations but shouldn't have access to billing or user administration.

  • Full access to the Admin Console

  • Full access to the Mobile App

  • Cannot view billing or payment details

  • Cannot add or edit Admin users

  • Can only be set up in one Safe Food Pro account


Tablet Manager

Mobile App access only, with slightly more capability than the standard Tablet level. Suitable for a manager who doesn't need Admin Console access but needs to manage staff or view records on the device.

  • Full access to the Mobile App

  • Can add and edit staff on the Mobile App

  • Can view and edit completed Staff Training, Troubleshooting, and Incident forms on the Mobile App

  • No access to the Admin Console


Tablet

The most limited Access Level. Designed for shared kitchen tablets or staff who only need to complete forms.

  • Access to the Mobile App for completing forms

  • Cannot add or edit staff on the Mobile App

  • Cannot view or edit completed Staff Training, Troubleshooting, or Incident forms on the Mobile App

  • No access to the Admin Console


Internal Auditor

Designed for managers who oversee multiple sites and need visibility of form completion across accounts.

  • View and manage access to the Admin Console

  • Cannot add or edit Users

  • Cannot view billing or payment details

  • Can complete forms on the Mobile App

  • Can be set up across multiple Safe Food Pro accounts — when signing in, they will be prompted to select which organisation to access


External Verifier

View-only access to the Admin Console. Designed for auditors or verifiers who need to review your completed records.

  • View-only access to the Admin Console

  • No access to the Mobile App

  • Can be set up across multiple Safe Food Pro accounts using the same login
