Monitor Pro is Safe Food Pro's automated temperature monitoring system. Wireless sensors placed inside your fridges, freezers, and hot-holding units record temperatures continuously and send readings to your Safe Food Pro dashboard — giving you a live audit trail without manual checks.

How it works
The system has two pieces of hardware — Sensors and a Hub — that work together to deliver readings to your dashboard.
The Sensor records a temperature reading every 15 minutes from inside your fridge, freezer, or hot-holding unit.
The Sensor transmits that reading wirelessly to the Hub using a long-range LoRa signal, which can pass through cool room walls and other common kitchen obstacles.
The Hub receives and uploads the reading to your Safe Food Pro account via your internet connection (LAN Hub) or mobile network (4G Hub).
The Dashboard logs the reading against the correct piece of equipment and plots it on a graph. If a temperature falls outside the safe range you have set, an alert is sent by email or push notification.
Hardware
The system is designed for easy self-installation.
Sensor (MP-TS3)
The wireless device placed inside your equipment. One sensor is required per piece of equipment.
Battery life: up to 3 years
Accuracy: ±0.5°C
Operating range: -55°C to +125°C
Hub
The central device that collects readings from all sensors and connects to the internet. One Hub supports up to 100 sensors. Two Hub models are available — LAN (WH-2) and 4G (WH-3).
Choosing your Monitor Pro kit
The main difference between kits is the type of Hub included.
Includes the LAN Hub (WH-2), which connects to the internet via an Ethernet cable plugged into your router.
Best for kitchens where the router is centrally located and close to the equipment being monitored. This is the most common setup.
Note: Larger organisations with managed network policies may require IT involvement to open the required network port.
Includes the 4G Hub (WH-3), which connects via a mobile SIM card and does not require a router connection.
Best for kitchens where the router is far from the equipment, businesses with separate storage areas or outbuildings, or where internet reliability is a concern.
Identical to the Starter Packs in function but include more sensors. Designed for larger operations monitoring a greater number of units from day one.
