How to Create & Manage Corrective Actions on the App
Corrective Actions are your tool for assigning tasks to your team or logging issues that need to be fixed. Whether you find a broken fridge during a daily check or need to assign a cleaning task, you can do it all from your mobile device.
Method 1: Creating an Action While Completing a Form
This is the best way to log an issue immediately when you find it during a check (e.g., if you answer "No" to "Is the equipment clean?").
- Open a form and begin filling it out.
- Option A (General): Tap the Blue Note Icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Option B (Specific Question): Tap the three dots icon (...) next to the specific question you want to flag.
- Select Add Action.
- Input the Details: Enter a description of the issue.
- Assign & Schedule: You can add extra details such as the Assignee (who needs to fix it) and the Due Date.
- Save your changes
Method 2: Creating a Standalone Action
Use this method if you need to assign a task that isn't related to a specific form you are currently filling out (e.g., "Clean the deep fryer").
- Log into the Mobile App.
- Tap the Menu icon (☰) in the top left-hand corner.
- Select Actions from the list.
- Tap the Add button (+) (usually in the top right-hand corner).
- Input the description, assign a team member, and set a due date.
- Save the task.
How to Complete an Action
Once a task has been assigned to you, you can mark it as done.
- Go to the Actions menu.
- Tap on the Action you need to complete.
- Select your Name and enter your PIN to sign off
- Change the status to Done.
