My Monitor Pro sensors have stopped sending readings

Find out what's causing your Monitor Pro sensor outage and get to the right troubleshooting guide in under a minute.

For: Admins and Managers

Note: It's possible your Hub and individual sensors are both affected — for example, if your Hub went offline for an extended period, some sensors may have also lost connection or drained their batteries in the meantime. If this might apply to you, resolve the Hub issue first, then work through the sensor article for each affected sensor afterwards.

Start here: check your Sensors tab

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.

  2. Navigate to the Sensors page.

  3. Adjust the date range in the top right corner to cover the period when readings stopped — for example, the past 3 months or even more if you're unsure.

  4. Look across the Last Reading and Last Battery Voltage columns for all sensors.

What are you seeing?

All sensors stopped sending readings at the same time → Your Hub is the likely cause.

One or a few sensors have stopped while others are still reporting → Likely an individual battery or obstruction issue

Not sure? If readings stopped gradually across different sensors at different times rather than all at once, treat each offline sensor individually. Go to: A sensor has stopped sending readings
